Jamie the Trickster

STUMPTOWN WAS AWESOME! I met a lot of great people, hung out with a lot of old friends and blew all my money on comics. My favorite part of the con though, were the people who came by and talked to me about my comic; asking me all sorts of things such as how I came up with the concept, what sort of trickster mythologies I was using or drawing from, offering me publisher suggestions and wishing me well. I really appreciated the interest people expressed in my comic and the strong love of comics and storytelling in general that they seemed to have, which is an impression I haven’t really gotten from a lot of con-goers at other conventions. So if you’re one of those people reading this now: Thank you. Seriously, you made my weekend and I’m definitely thinking about coming back next year.
Unfortunately, because of being away at Stumptown there won’t be a page update this Friday (May 4/2012) but after that the updates should continue on subsequent Fridays as per usual. Thanks for reading!
